MDRoffers Consulting has been working with the Village of Weston, Marathon County, Wisconsin, to advance several initiatives to modernize the Village’s planning, zoning, and economic development framework. Since 2013, MDRoffers has been a partner on:

• An update to the Village’s Comprehensive Plan, which incorporated a complete redesign of the Village’s 2006 Comprehensive Plan. The new Plan includes updated branding and themes, a Comprehensive Outdoor Recreation Plan, and innovative broadband technology components.
• Redevelopment plans for two highways, serving as blueprints for future redevelopment, zoning decisions, public investments, enhanced traffic flow, design, and imagery along six miles of road through the Village.  See: County Road X (Camp Phillips Road) Corridor Plan (adopted); Schofield Avenue Corridor Plan (adopted).
• A major amendment to a tax incremental district project plan.
• Acquisition of funding to extend broadband infrastructure to serve the Village’s developing technology park.
• The Eau Claire River Water Trail vision, which establishes an intergovernmental vision for expanding access to paddling. 
• Complete updates to the Village of Weston zoning and subdivision ordinances and park impact fees, and to the Town of Weston zoning ordinance.
• A dynamic Community Entryway and Wayfinding Plan and identification of funding sources to implement that plan.
